Our Heritage & Leadership
Ashbuild was established in 1964 by Matt Geraghty. Paul Geraghty took over from his father in 1995 and has continued to grow Ashbuild into the successful company it has become today.
Paul's customer focused approach along with his relentless commitment to quality and safety has been the driving factor behind the Company's growth and success. AshBuilds ability to work within challenging environments such as food production, chemical manufacturing, biomedical and pharma reflects our commitment to placing our customers requirements, safety and quality at the forefront of all our projects.
Strategic Partnership
As part of Paul's evolving vision for AshBuild, we have entered into a strategic partnership with Mick Murphy who’s experience in Project Managing compliments Paul’s hands on knowledge of construction. Mick brings decades experience to Ashbuild's team.
His unique skills include the ability to bring value through keen insights on critical path analysis, and a pragmatic, time-focused approach to material and staff resourcing.
Technical Excellence & Project Management
Mick has an exceptional understanding of technical detail and quality standards. These skills have seen him employed as a "Problem Solving" asset on a range of demanding projects, securing a cooperative design and project team approach.
Through practical review, evaluation, resolution, and execution of construction challenges across the project term, he capitalizes on available efficiencies to eliminate delay and maintain programme timelines.
Cost Control
Ashbuild's QS and Cost Control Manager, Tony Hetherton works closely with Mick. Together, they carry out detailed cost reporting on a monthly basis, exploring project efficiencies whilst adhering to programme milestones.
In-House Design & Planning Excellence
Ashbuild prides itself on delivering high quality construction projects and places cost control, programming and finishes at the forefront of every project. Ashbuild's in-house design and planning team are dedicated to compiling project works programmes, co- ordination between all design elements and processing BCAR documentation.
