Health and Safety Policy
It is the policy of Ashbuild to do all that is reasonably practicable to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
Ashbuild Ltd. are fully committed to conducting business activities in a safe manner in order to prevent incidents and safeguard employees and the public alike. It is the policy of Ashbuild Ltd. to comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction Regulations), 2013, to 2021 and to ensure as far as reasonably practicable the safety, health and welfare of all employees whilst at work, and such information, training, and supervision as is needed for the purpose.
It is the policy of Ashbuild Ltd. to protect, so far as reasonably practicable, persons not employed by Ashbuild Ltd., who may be affected by our activities.
It is the policy of Ashbuild Ltd. to ensure that adequate consultation takes place between management and employees on all health and safety related matters and employees are encouraged to notify management of identified hazards in the workplace. All employees have a responsibility to co-operate with supervisors and management to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take reasonable care of themselves and others.
The policy is available at all company work locations for consultation and review by employees. The policy is kept up to date and amended as necessary to incorporate changes in scope of works or project specific details. In performance of the work, safety shall take precedence over expedience or short-cuts, despite the urgent or emergency nature of the job in hand.
Ashbuild Ltd., are committed to monitoring performance by setting rigorous health and safety KPI's, regularly auditing and reviewing operations and continually improving our health and safety management and performance. The Policy is communicated to all employees, suppliers, and sub-contractors and is available on site to all parties.
